  • Expertise in neuroradiology and psychiatry

  • Study experience in Australia, India and Switzerland

  • Full scholarship for a Clinical Fellowship in Neurocritical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) of Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.

  • Since 2002 in the medical on-call service/emergency service Frankfurt, KV Hessen.

  • Several years of experience as an emergency doctor (additional qualification in emergency medicine) - Frankfurt Fire Brigade

  • After obtaining  licence to practise medicine, further training in neuroradiology at Frankfurt University Hospital, in the neurology department of the Northwest Hospital and in the psychiatry department of the Frankfurt Höchst Hospital.

  • Worked locally to set up a neurological clinic including a stroke unit and intensive care unit in Brunei Darussalam

  • Senior physician in neurology and neuro-intensive care at the Aschaffenburg-Alzenau Hospital - my parallel work as a senior physician in the neurological clinic guarantees that I always provide the latest standards of care for my patients.

  • Experience as a lecturer at the Rhine-Main University of Applied Sciences in health economics

  • DEGUM level 1 in neurological ultrasound diagnostics

  • Certified clinical risk manager

  • Certification "Medical Assessment" of the the Bavarian State Medical Association

After a detailed anamnesis with physical examination, we can conduct comprehensive additional apparatus diagnostics as follows:

  • Stroke prevention examination

  • EEG (measurement of brain waves)

  • Neurosonography (Doppler/duplex sonography of the vessels supplying the brain). In isolated cases, nerve sonography (peripheral nerves)

  • Electromyography (recording of the electrically amplified potentials of muscles and nerves to assess diseases of the nerves or muscles)

  • Electroneurography (examination method to assess the functionality of a nerve)

  • Evoked potentials: VEP, AEP, SEP (non-invasive measurement of conduction in the nervous system after optical, acoustic or sensory stimuli)

  • Neuropsychological test procedures

  • Assessment of neuroradiological sectional images (CT and MRT)

  • Laboratory diagnostics

  • Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) puncture (nerve fluid examination in special cases)
